I was going through my picture library and found these photographs that I took on a very foggy October morning. Looked as if the fog descended on us to set the atmosphere for Halloween.
Halloween fever is definitely in the air. You cannot go out and not come across Jack-O’-Lanterns, Scarecrows and spooky figurines trying their best to scare you. But, au contraire, these figurines are so cute that invariably you will find yourself smiling and admiring them.
Spotted the following cuties while running an errand to the local Walmart.
This year Ganesh Chaturthi was on September 17th. My family celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi every year in Goa in our ancestral house. Its a shame I was not able to attend Chaturthi in Goa. Nevertheless, Kshama made Bappa’s favourtie Modak. The first delicious photograph is of the mouth-watering Modaks.
Halloween is observed on October 31st and presently the sale of Halloween costumes and goodies (or should I say “badies”) is in full swing. Samarth was prompt enough to pick up the pumpkins as soon as he saw them and Kshama turned them into the Jack-O’-Lanterns. Second photograph is of the jack-o’-lantern family.
