Basilica of National Shrine

Tomorrow (31st Aug 2015) it will be exactly one year since we visited the beautiful and majestic Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Maryland. We had such a pious and serene experience there that it seems as if yesterday and the images and the sounds still linger in our memory.

Showcased below are some of the photographs that I took in the Basilica using the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II kit lens. Some of them are not as crisp as they should have been because this is the best the lens (and myself) could have done in the ambient lighting conditions and no tripod.
