Rocketdyne F-1 Engine

F1 engine, developed by Roketdyne in the late 1950s was used in the Saturn V rocket, the primary launching vehicle in the Apollo Mission which took the first of our kind to the moon. Each F1 was capable of producing 1.5 million pounds of thrust and the Saturn V had five of these monsters behind her pushing with a total might of 7.5 million pounds…phew!
