Boondi Laddu

Boondi is a snack food made from sweetened, fried chickpea flour (besan). Laddu comes from the Sanskrit word “ladduka” or “lattika” meaning a small ball (Source: Wikipedia). And when we roll the sweetened boondi into laddus we get the delectable “Boondi Laddu”.

Google the term “boondi laddu” and you will find tons of videos and recepies on how to prepare this mouth watering delicacy. Preparation time is approximately two hours. And time to finish the laddu…in the blink of an eye!
