There is a hibiscus plant in our garden which is teeming with flowers. The flowers which this plant bears are the biggest hibiscus that I have ever seen in my life. For comparison I used my Cross Century II fountain pen. The pen is 5.3 inches in length. The flower, however, is bigger than the pen!
Here are some lesser known facts about the hibiscus flower. The tea made from hibiscus flowers is known by many names in many countries around the world and is served both hot and cold. The beverage is well known for its color, tanginess and flavor. The tea is popular as a natural diuretic; it contains vitamin C and minerals, and is used traditionally as a mild medicine.
